What a delicious, deep dance dive we enjoyed at Lava Hot Springs this past May 20 - 22, 2016! Join us in 2017 for a 5Rhythms Chakra Journey, May 19 - 21 also at Lava.

The Intermountain West dance tribes from Utah, Eastern Idaho and the Sun Valley area... plus one magical French woman... united in an open-hearted exploration of the 5Rhythms map connected to the elements: Earth, Air, Fire, Water & Ether.

Combine full days of dance with soaking in Lava Hot Springs, you have a potent combination for healing and stilling the mind. We were well cooked.

This was the very first 5Rhythms workshop ever to be held at this site. Much magic was woven to make it a glorious weekend and ensure that we will definitely do it again. Plans for an annual retreat are in the works. Stay tuned!

The most inspiring magic transpired as a call out to several crew members to create art installations for each of the 4 Elements, Ether being the final and yet invisible element that contains all. The unifying theme was dreamcatchers... the rest was up to the individual to fashion according to their vision. What evolved was beyond all of our expectations!

Please enjoy the creative tour de force that inspired our dances!

The 5Rhythms retreat with Heeraa was exceptional. I have danced a lot in this life and been to a lot of retreats and workshops. At this retreat I learned even more about the elements and the styles of movement and energy associated with them. Heeraa guided us skillfully and shared her knowledge and presence in a way that kept us engaged from beginning to end. I am looking forward to doing more with this incredibly gifted leader. ~ Richard McFarland-Dorworth, Breathwork facilitator, Ketchum, ID
